Real-Time Release Testing, Process Validation Tackled in EU Guidelines
Drugmakers may now use real-time release testing (RTRT) instead of end-product testing to demonstrate product quality for additional assessments and are no longer limited to using it for sterility testing, according to a final European Medicines Agency (EMA) guideline.
