J&J’s Canagliflozin Could Reap Rewards as First of New Diabetes Drug Class to Market
Johnson & Johnson’s (J&J) Janssen subsidiary has turned in its NDA for Type 2 diabetes treatment canagliflozin, positioning the company to be the first to get a selective sodium glucose co-transport 2 (SGLT-2) inhibitor to market — a feat that could pay off big time.
