Bavarian Nordic Receives Advance Payment From U.S. Government
Danish pharmaceutical company Bavarian Nordic has received permission from U.S. authorities to invoice an advance payment of $50 million to manufacture and deliver 20 million doses of the company’s Imvamune smallpox vaccine. The payment is dependent on Bavarian Nordic’s continued fulfillment of the conditions of the contract. Delivery will start once an emergency use authorization for Imvamune is granted, Bavarian Nordic said. The company expects to receive two additional milestone payments of $25 million each. |
