Wright Adds Products to Hip Line
Wright Medical Group has introduced a total hip arthroplasty surgical technique that does not require the hip to be dislocated during the procedure and its first cemented modular neck hip implant - a revision stem combining wedged-stem design with modular neck technology. Wright's Supercap technique for total hip arthroplasty minimized the effects on the surrounding soft tissues and is performed through a single incision, according to the company. The company also has launched the Profemur Xm Hip Stem, its first modular neck hip implant with cemented fixation, and its Profemur Z Revision Hip Stem, a longer version of the widely used Profemur Z Stem. |
