Dutch Lipitor Ruling Prevents Generic Launch Until 2011
Although the Court of Appeal in The Hague, the Netherlands, ruled last week that Pfizer’s Lipitor enantiomer patent is invalid, the same court decided recently that the basic patent on the cholesterol drug would be infringed on by Ranbaxy Laboratories’ generic version.
