EU Moves Toward Global System on Classification, Labeling of Substances

The European Parliament adopted a compromise measure last month aimed at aligning the EU’s regulations on classification, labeling and packaging of substances and mixtures with the United Nations’ Globally Harmonised System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS).
