FDA Tries to Kickstart Its Delayed Secure Supply Chain Pilot Program
The FDA appears to be taking steps to launch its much-delayed Secure Supply Chain Pilot Program (SSCPP), coincidently the same week that efforts to authorize a federal track-and-trace system in an FDA user fee bill died. On Wednesday, the agency published in the Federal Register a notice announcing it has sought approval from the White House’s Office of Management and Budget on its proposal for the pilot program, which would expedite entry of foreign drug products.
