EC Requests Opinion on DEHP Devices
The European Commission has asked the Scientific Committee on Emerging and Newly Identified Health Risks (SCENIHR) to provide an opinion on the potential health impacts caused by DEHP (di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate)-containing medical devices. SCENIHR is looking for input from experts in fields related to DEHP devices, with particular interest in comments from perinatal pediatricians and epidemiologists. The deadline for submissions is Sept. 24.
