Teva’s Request to Have Injury Suits Tried in Friendlier Federal Jurisdiction Refused

Teva and other drugmakers Tuesday lost a bid to have 26 personal injury lawsuits shifted from hostile California state courts to friendlier federal courts. The U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals issued a 2-1 decision in the closely watched case that comports with a lower court’s ruling on the matter.
