FDA Approves 28 Additional Styles of Natrelle 410 Breast Implants
The FDA has granted Ireland-based Allergan clearance to market 28 additional styles of Natrelle 410 silicone-filled breast implants in the U.S.
The Natrelle 410 Shaped Gel Breast Implants, which are designed to mirror the size and shape of a woman’s breast, are filled with a highly cohesive silicone gel that enables the implants to have long-lasting shape.
Clearance of the extra-full projection and low height styles was based on a three-year study of 350 women who underwent breast reconstruction, augmentation or revision surgery with the implants.
Allergan plans to roll out the new implants in October. — Michael Cipriano
