The FDA has granted PMA approval to Medtronic’s Verify Evaluation System for expanded use in basic evaluations of patient benefit from InterStim bladder and bowel control therapy.
The wireless touch-screen system allows for shorter — three to seven day — evaluations, accelerating the potential for long-term restoration of bladder or bowel function.
The Verify System and the long-term InterStim System provide mild electrical stimulation to the sacral nerves, which normalize communication between the bladder or bowel and the brain. — Michael Cipriano
