Fagron Issues Nationwide Recall of Syrspend Suspension Agents
The FDA has alerted compounding pharmacies that Fagron has initiated a voluntary nationwide recall of Syrspend SF suspension agents due to microbial yeast contamination.
The FDA recommends that compounders immediately discontinue use of the affected lots, quarantine the products and return them to Fagron. The recall affects Sysrpend SF and Syrspend SF Grape suspension agents.
