St. Jude Medical has won CE Mark certification for magnetic resonance conditional labeling for its Nanostim leadless pacemaker.
With the approval, patients with a Nanostim leadless pacemaker can safely undergo full-body MRI scans. The approval broadens the company’s existing portfolio of MRI compatible products. The pacemaker is fully retrievable and is 10 percent the size of a traditional pacemaker. — Anisa Jibrell
