Interscope Snags EU Approval for EndoRotor System
The European Union has greenlighted Worcester-based Interscope’s EndoRotor System, used for gastrointestinal procedures for the management of colon and esophageal cancer.
In addition, the USPO has granted the device five patents.
The device is a resection tool that targets incomplete resection and eliminates mucosal lesion and Barrett’s esophagus, the company says.
The company’s milestones stem from support received from the Massachusetts Extension Partnership — or MassMEP — and its developer, Boston Engineering. — Anisa Jibrell
