Health Canada Approves GORE Excluder Iliac Branch Endoprosthesis
W.L. Gore & Associates has gained Health Canada approval for its GORE Excluder Iliac Branch Endoprosthesis for the endovascular treatment of common iliac artery aneurysms.
The system offers a treatment range of 6.5-13.5 mm for internal iliac arteries and 6.5-25 for external iliac arteries, and preserves blood flow.
The device nabbed CE mark approval in 2013 and FDA approval last February. — Anisa Jibrell
