The UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency released urgent field safety notices for a range of medical devices, including Laerdal’s Medical’s compact suction unit, Macopharma’s LCRD2 blood filters and Ortho Clinical Diagnostic’s Ortho Vision and Ortho Vision and Vision Max blood analyzers.
Laerdal’s LCSU 4 compact suction units manufactured after May 2015 might not be able to be turned off without removing the power source, or might turn on by themselves. — Jeff Kinney
