India Again Seeks GMP and GLP Self-Assessments

India’s drug regulatory authority is urging manufacturers to complete self-assessments of their compliance with GMP and GLP requirements.
The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization called on states to direct manufacturers to complete the self-assessment reports — and to get them in by the end of the month.
In 2015, the government asked drug manufacturers to complete the self-assessments and turn them in to state authorities, but CDSCO said it hasn’t received any reports.
