Compounder Outsourcing Facility Fees Going Up Oct. 1
September 22, 2017
The FDA’s annual fees for compounding-pharmacy outsourcing facilities will rise slightly in fiscal 2018, beginning Oct. 1.
For small businesses, the fee will be $5,364, up from $5,279 in the current year. For others, the fee will be $17,364, up from $16,852.
The fees are set by an inflation-adjustment formula in the 2013 law that created the outsourcing category for eligible compounders.
