FDA Seeks Nominations for Patient Engagement Collaborative

The FDA is requesting nominations for participants in its Patient Engagement Collaborative (PEC).
The program, coordinated through the Patient Affairs Staff, Office of Medical Products and Tobacco, Office of the Commissioner, aims to allow participants to discuss strategies for patient engagement in regulatory and medical product development.
Potential activities for the PEC include soliciting perspectives on patient engagement, communications and transparency as well as new models of collaboration between patients and patient advocates. Nominations are due by the end of January 2018.
