FDA Clears Glooko Mobile Insulin Dosing System for Diabetes Management
Glooko, a developer of diabetes management products, received FDA clearance for its Mobile Insulin Dosing System for the titration of long-acting insulin in individuals with type 2 diabetes.
The system allows access to patients’ blood glucose data collected from glucose meters to optimize insulin doses. It also features “customizable in-app reminders to check fasting blood glucose and to take insulin,” the company said.
It is the “first insulin titration application accessible through a unified diabetes management system, which provides a complete program for diabetes management,” according to Glooko.
