Johnson & Johnson gained a CE Mark for its Acuvue Oasys with Transitions, a two-weekly reusable UV blocking contact lens that corrects vision and adjusts to changing light conditions.
The lens is designed to block UV rays while balancing the amount of light that enters the eye, reducing bright light exposure in both indoor and outdoor settings.
The company heralded the lens as an “entirely new category” that provides a benefit to wearing contact lenses beyond vision correction.
