Delivery system devicemaker Primequal has been handed the CE Mark for its Talent IH (inguinal hernia), a device that applies surgical glue for effective mesh fixation during IH surgery.
The applicator, which applies a single precise microdose of surgical glue with each press of its lever, removes the need for stitches, staples or tackers, reducing post-surgery pain and allowing the patient to recover faster.
Primequal says the device is the first “versatile adhesive applicator kit” to receive the CE Mark.
