The FDA cleared eMurmur’s mobile heart murmur sensor for use alongside electronic stethoscopes.
The Canadian devicemaker’s eMurmur ID uses cloud technology and machine learning to identify and classify pathologic and innocent heart murmurs, S1 and S2 heart sounds, and the absence of a heart murmur.
The tool comes with a mobile app, AI-based analytics and a web portal, all of which are compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
