The FDA has granted 510(k) clearance to Life Spine for a titanium version of its Longbow lateral expandable spacer system.
The spacer can reach up to 12mm of anterior to posterior expansion. It allows for a contract insertion size of 15mm but, with expansion, is closer to an anterior lumbar interbody fusion spacer.
The system comes in lengths that range from 45-60mm, heights from 9mm-15mm, 0° and 7° lordotic options and widths that expand from 15mm-27mm anterior to posterior.
