Stryker issued an alert to users on specific Lifepak 15 monitors/defibrillators, which may fail to deliver a defibrillation shock when used.
The device giant said that the affected devices might fail to deliver their defibrillation shocks when the “shock” button is pressed because oxidation may have occurred in the button.
Users with faulty defibrillators should contact the company to schedule the installation of a new keypad.
