TriNetX, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute to Monitor COVID-19 Drug Usage
TriNetX is partnering with the FDA’s Sentinel Operations Center at the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute (HPHCI) to monitor priority drugs used for treating hospitalized COVID-19 patients.
The institute is using TriNetX's deidentified COVID-19 clinical data set to support studies for monitoring sedatives and other drugs used to assist with respiratory disease and other coronavirus-related conditions. The projects will look at inpatient and outpatient drug use to identify usage patterns that could signal possible drug shortages. — Jordan Williams
