FDA Clears Engage Surgical’s Cementless Partial Knee System
Florida-based Engage Surgical has received 510(k) clearance from the FDA for its Engage Partial Knee system that features a 3-D printed tibial tray.
The cementless implant was developed in response to requests by surgeons for a noncemented, ligament-preserving, fixed-bearing system, the company said.
The device will initially be available to orthopedic surgeons at the Hospital for Special Surgery and affiliated surgical centers.
