Masimo’s Wearable Vital Signs Monitor Gains CE Mark
Masimo’s wearable, tetherless vital signs monitor, Radius VSM, has earned a CE mark certification in Europe.
The monitor keeps track of various physiological measurements, including oxygen saturation, noninvasive blood pressure, body temperature, respiration rate and electrocardiography (ECG). The device has a rechargeable battery that lasts for more than 12 hours between charges.
The Radius VSM includes a high-resolution touchscreen and can be used on its own or integrated with Masimo’s bedside monitors and patient surveillance systems. The company is initiating a limited release of the product in the European market.
