Richter Buys Up J&J’s Transdermal Contraceptive Patch

Richter announced that it has signed a $263.5 million purchase agreement for Johnson & Johnson subsidiary Janssen’s Ortho Evra transdermal contraceptive patch.
The hormonal patch, which is intended for women aged 18 to 45, is approved by the FDA as a once-weekly contraceptive.
The patch contains 6 mg of norelgestromin and 0.75 mg of ethinyl estradiol and is applied on the buttocks, abdomen, upper outer arm or upper torso.
