CyMedica has received FDA 510(k) clearance for IntelliHab, a drug-free neuromodulation strengthening therapy for treating pain caused by osteoarthritis disease of the knee.
The home-based, noninvasive system delivers pain relief without the need for opioids, while remotely sharing important progress data with healthcare providers through a secure online portal.
According to CyMedica, the device is the only FDA-cleared pain management and patient engagement technology that delivers stimulation to reduce muscle weakness while keeping providers advised of patient progress.
