Anti-Diabetes Drug Associated With Less Brain Amyloid in Alzheimer’s Patients
Alzheimer’s patients who took dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitors (DPP-4i) for type 1 diabetes had lower levels of brain amyloid beta than both diabetic patients who hadn’t taken the drug, and a control group of amyloid-positive nondiabetic patients.
