Samsung Gets FDA’s 510(k) Clearance for Lung Nodule-Detecting Algorithms
Samsung’s NeuroLogica subsidiary has received the FDA’s 510(k) clearance for its Auto Lung Nodule Detection tool.
The artificial intelligence-based software, which assists physicians in reviewing chest radiographs, is part of the S-Station operation software installed on Samsung digital X-ray imaging systems.
The Auto Lung Nodule Detection tool also features picture archiving and transmission options to suit hospital environments.
