Plastikon Recalls Various Lots of Medicines, Microbial Contamination Cause
Plastikon Healthcare recalled several lots of its Milk of Magnesia, acetaminophen, and magnesium hydroxide/aluminum hydroxide/simethicone due to microbial contamination.
The recall products included three lots of Milk of Magnesia oral suspension (2400 mg/30 ml), one lot of acetaminophen (650 mg/20.3 ml) and six lots of magnesium hydroxide (1200 mg)/aluminum hydroxide (1200 mg) /simethicone (120 mg/30 ml).
The affected lots were distributed to the wholesaler, Major Pharmaceuticals Distribution Center, between May 1, 2020 and June 28, 2021. No recall-related customer complaints or adverse events have been reported, the company said.
