Bosch Healthcare Solutions Gets a CE Mark for Its STI Test
Stuttgart, Germany-based Bosch Healthcare Solutions has received a CE mark for its Vivalytic MG, MH, UP/UU, test for four sexually transmitted infections.
This real-time polymerase chain reaction test can detect Mycoplasma genitalium (MG), Mycoplasma hominis (MH), Ureaplasma parvum (UP) and Ureaplasma urealyticum (UU).
The test can deliver a positive result in an hour.
The test was developed in partnership with BioGX, a U.S.-based molecular diagnostics company. It is now available as part of the Vivalytic analyzer test portfolio and can therefore be used directly at the point of care.
