Fairtility’s AI Device Gains CE Mark
Fairtility’s artificial intelligence (AI) embryo grading software, Chloe EQ, has gained a CE mark, making it the first AI-powered tool for assessing the viability of embryos.
The device ranks embryos in order of priority and provides annotations on morphokinetics — changes during embryo development providing dynamic information on a fertilized egg — and on the pronuclei count. Normal fertilization occurs when two pronuclei are formed.
Israel-based Fairtility plans to market the Chloe EQ device to in vitro fertilization (IVF) fertility clinics in the EU.
The company aims to expand the Chloe platform to other IVF applications, including infertility cause assessments.
