CerroZone’s Mobile Air Purification Device Receives 510(k) Clearance
CerroZone, a Berkshire Hathaway company, has received the FDA’s 510(k) clearance for its ozone-based CerroZone mobile air purification system.
The device is intended to purify air in large buildings such as schools, retail environments, offices and other indoor spaces.
In independent testing, the device achieved a 99.998 percent reduction of the SARS-CoV-2 Delta variant in a single pass of approximately 1.2 seconds, the company said.
The device uses patented ozone technology “in a way that is safe for consumers and the environment,” the company said.
