Noah Medical’s Galaxy System Cleared for Robotic Navigated Bronchoscopy
The FDA has cleared Noah Medical’s Galaxy System for robotic-guided bronchoscopy visualization and access to patient airways for both diagnostic and therapeutic settings.
The system features three dimensional x-ray imaging and augmented fluoroscopy, which is software that connects to standard fluoroscopy in real time. The platform includes always-on-camera disposable bronchoscopes.
The system’s imaging technologies display location updates in real time, which can precisely target lesions, including in the difficult-to reach outer third of the lung, the company said.
