IMMUNOGEN GETS $10M MORE FROM SANOFI-AVENTIS DEAL
Sanofi-aventis U.S. LLC has extended the term of its research collaboration with Cambridge-based ImmunoGen Inc. ImmunoGen will receive research support funding worth $10.4 million from sanofi-aventis through Aug. 31, 2008. The nature
of the collaboration has changed as well, with ImmunoGen no longer obligated
to present new targets for antibody-based anticancer therapeutics to sanofi-aventis,
enabling ImmunoGen to use such targets in the development of its own proprietary
products.
