ANALOG -- FIRST 14-BIT HIGH-SPEED OCTAL ADC MEETS MEDICAL NEEDS
The first family of octal analogue-to-digital converters (ADCs) to extend to 14 bits has been announced by Analog Devices. The eight-channel high-speed converters are seen as ideal for portable medical devices and ultrasound machines where lower power consumption and smaller board space are critical design considerations.
