REPORT: BOSTON SCIENTIFIC TAKING SALES HIT FROM STENT WORRIES
A new report says Boston Scientific is losing sales due to doctor concerns over the risks posed by drug-coated heart stents. Stents are tiny mesh tubes used to prop open diseased heart blood vessels. Older versions are bare-metal, but newer models are coated with drugs to prevent clotting.
