MEDICARE CARD DEBATE SPILLS OVER INTO PRESIDENTIAL RACE

The ongoing debate over the new Medicare discount drug cards boiled over into the presidential race yesterday, with Democratic candidate John Kerry’s campaign alleging that several of the companies offering the cards had been charged with fraud and that some had made political contributions to the president’s re-election campaign.
