With increased concern about the potential effects of electromagnetic interference on heart pacemakers (ICDs) and implantable cardioverter defibrillators, researchers at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., reported they did not detect interference from personal digital assistants (PDAs) on cardiac devices.
