TEVA GRANTED FINAL APPROVAL OF FLUCONAZOLE INJECTION
The FDA has given final approval to Teva Pharmaceutical's abbreviated new drug application for fluconazole injection, 2 mg/mL in 200- and 400-mg bags.
The injectable drug is the generic version of Pfizer's antifungal agent Diflucan. The drug is intended to treat vaginal yeast infections.
