Judge Gives Preliminary OK to $36 Million Drug Settlement
A federal judge in Newark, N.J., gave preliminary approval for a $36 million nationwide settlement in an antitrust case involving the antidepressant Remeron. The 50-state settlement is with Roseland, N.J.-based pharmaceutical company Organon USA and its Dutch parent, chemical and pharmaceutical giant Akzo Nobel NV.
