Ranbaxy Receives Tentative Approval for Generic Aricept
Ranbaxy Laboratories has received tentative approval from the FDA for donepezil HCl, a treatment for Alzheimer's disease.
The tentative approval is for oral tablets of donepezil in 5- and 10-mg strengths. Donepezil is the generic equivalent of Eisai Medical Research's branded medicine Aricept.
