Teva Pharmaceutical has received tentative approval from the FDA to market topiramate capsules in 15- and 25-mg strengths.
Topiramate is the generic equivalent of Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical's Topamax, and is used to treat migraines and cluster headaches, epilepsy, and weight loss.
