Halozyme Wins FDA Approval for First Product
April 20, 2005
Halozyme Therapeutics said that it has received approval from the FDA to market its first product, Cumulase, for use in the in vitro fertilization process. The Sorrento Valley, Calif.-based company received regulatory approval last year to market the same product in the European Union. Cumulase is a recombinant human enzyme that will be used on human eggs to prepare them for the in vitro fertilization process.
