Baxter Warned About Dialysis Plant
U.S. regulators sent a warning letter to Deerfield, Ill.-based Baxter International citing deficiencies at a company plant in Florida that makes dialysis machines and said four patient deaths may be related to one of the problems. The FDA said Baxter isn't in compliance with all the requirements necessary to manufacture, package, store and install the products, which are used to treat patients with kidney problems.
