GOLDEN ANGELS WILL FUND MADISON DRUG COMPANY

The Marquette University Golden Angels Network has closed a $535,000 seed investment round with eMetagen Corp., a Madison drug discovery and development company. In addition to the Golden Angels' investment, eMetagen has received a $488,512 phase I biodefense grant from the National Institutes of Health and a $150,000 Technology Development Fund award from the Wisconsin Department of Commerce for the company's research and development programs.
