Sen. Edward Kennedy (D.-Mass.) and Rep. Henry Waxman (D.-Calif.) have requested that the Government Accountability Office (GAO) investigate the “negative effects on developing countries’ access to medicines” they say have flowed from the Bush administration’s trade negotiations.
